The Normandy Gold Nugget Transport and Display Case was custom designed to display

and transport the world's second largest gold nugget weighing 26kg and valued at $1,500,000.00.

The gold is displayed within the toughened laminated glass enclosure and illuminated with

built in low voltage halogen lighting. The curvature of the glass adds to the strength of

the enclosure while producing a reflection that emphasises the gold. The novel method of

packing the case for transport ensures the gold is never removed from its secure enclosure.

The case is finished with brushed stainless steel and lacquered composite materials.

The unique design of the case provides a secure exhibition environment, while

enhancing the appearance of the gold.
